These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of Northstarss' services, including our AI receptionist, missed-call text-back, AI chatbot, AI business organizer, and website services. Northstars is operated by JL Group Inc. By using our website, calling a business that uses our services, or purchasing a service from us, you agree to these Terms.

When you sign up for a Northstars account — or provide your phone number to us or to a business that uses Northstars — you expressly consent to receive text messages from that business's Northstars phone number, including missed-call replies and service-related messages. Consent to receive text messages is not a condition of any purchase.

When you call a business that uses Northstars and your call is not answered, the business's phone number may send you one automated text message letting you know your call was received and inviting you to call back or book online. This is a one-time, informational message sent only after you call first.

We do not send recurring marketing or promotional text messages. Message frequency varies; typically one message per missed call. Message and data rates may apply, depending on your mobile carrier and plan.

You may opt out of text messages at any time by replying STOP. After you reply STOP, you will receive no further text messages from that business's Northstars number. For assistance, reply HELP or contact us using the details below.

Our services may only be used for lawful purposes. You agree not to use Northstars services to harass, threaten, defraud, or send unwanted messages to anyone; to impersonate another person or business; or to violate any applicable law or regulation, including telemarketing, text messaging, and consumer protection rules.

Businesses using Northstars are responsible for the accuracy of the information their AI receptionist provides to callers and for keeping their business details, hours, and offerings up to date.

Website services are billed as a one-time build fee. Ongoing services — the care plan and any AI add-ons such as the chatbot, organizer, or AI receptionist — are billed as recurring monthly subscriptions through our payment processor. You can cancel a subscription at any time by contacting us; cancellation stops future charges.

Prices are shown before you pay and may change with reasonable notice. If you believe you were charged in error, contact us and we will make it right.

Our AI receptionist, chatbot, and organizer generate responses automatically using the information each business provides. While we work hard to keep responses accurate and helpful, AI responses may occasionally be incomplete or out of date. For anything critical — emergencies, legal, medical, or financial matters — you should speak directly with the business you contacted.

Emergency calls: an AI receptionist is not an emergency service. If you have an emergency, hang up and call 911 (or your local emergency number).

We aim to keep Northstars running smoothly at all times, but we do not guarantee the service will be uninterrupted or error-free. We may add, change, or remove features over time. If we make a material change that affects how you use the service, we will let you know.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Northstars and JL Group Inc are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the services, including missed calls, undelivered messages, lost business opportunities, or AI responses that turn out to be inaccurate. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.

Our collection and use of personal information, including call and message data, is described in our Privacy Policy, which is part of these Terms.

We may update these Terms from time to time. The current version is always posted on this page with its last-updated date. Continued use of the services after an update means you accept the revised Terms.
